Holly Rooks Grenvicz Holly founded Fresh Dirt Marketing LLC in 2007 to pursue her passion of serving Nashville‘s small business community by offering comprehensive strategic marketing services. Holly brings more than a decade of marketing, public relations and media experience to her clients. In 2003, after an eight-month hiatus working for a crisis communications firm, First Tennessee invited Holly to rejoin the company to serve as part of a Middle Tennessee expansion initiative task force in Nashville. This team opened 20 financial centers in 40 months; something unprecedented in First Tennessee’s history, and unmatched by any other financial services company. The youngest member of the expansion team, Holly developed marketing strategies and executed the plans for the grand openings of all 20 locations. In this role, Holly also developed a checking acquisition campaign which resulted in 1,500 new checking accounts for Middle Tennessee in one quarter. The campaign is now used across the corporation and is responsible for more than 10,000 new primary households and $11 million in revenue annually. Through this success, Holly was given the 2004 Annual “FirstPower Award.” This honor is awarded to one individual or team selected from First Tennessee / First Horizon’s 14,000 employees. Holly earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City , Tenn. She also holds the designation of Certified Financial Marketing Professional from the Institute of Certified Bankers and has attended the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management. Holly resides in Nashville with her husband Joe and their daughter Lyla.
Jennifer Sheets Jenn, a Massachusetts native, brings more than ten years of marketing, advertising, branding and graphics experience to the Fresh Dirt team. Prior to joining FDM, Jenn spent three years in marketing at the home office for CGU Life (Aviva) where she took part in an international merger and rebranding effort. This was followed by seven years in marketing as Art Director for the Nashville Predators Hockey Club. While with the Predators, she built a full service in-house art department that featured a design team who serviced the brand strategy and graphics needs of the Predators organization, Sommet Center and Nashville Predators Foundation. During her tenure, she played a vital role in bringing many award-winning marketing programs and campaigns to the Beginning in 2007 Jenn played a lead role in launching a collaborative, multimedia film and music project called The Nashville 9. She created and managed the project brand, collateral, marketing and PR efforts as well as coordinated event execution and promotion, sponsorship, fundraising and community relations efforts. Along with the project creators, Jenn engaged and managed a volunteer staff of over 100 collaborators. The result of the project is a newly-formed network of Nashvillians in the film and music industries (both indie and professional) that accomplished the task of creating a 9 song album and a 9 scene short film in consecutive 9 days. The results were presented to a packed house at the Belcourt Theatre in March 2009 and was recognized by multiple media outlets. Jenn has also acted as Principal of BrownCow Creative for the past ten years, a freelance graphics and advertising company with clients across the U.S. Her training in visual communications, psychology, and special education combined with experience in corporate marketing environments, entertainment, professional sports, non-profits and small business yields a unique perspective to solving marketing, advertising and design dilemmas. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Special Education and Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and received a degree in Visual Communications from Gibbs Boston, Boston, MA. Jenn lives in Nashville with her husband, Luke. Community involvement:
Mindy Knight Nashville native Mindy Knight brings nine years of marketing project management experience to the Fresh Dirt team. In her role as Associate Account Executive, Mindy maintains client relationships and executes marketing plans for clients in the entertainment and financial services industries. Mindy’s expertise in web content management, email marketing, research and print production are invaluable assets to the clients she serves. Her attention to detail makes her great at her job, and her bubbly personality is contagious! Prior to joining FDM, Mindy spent four years as Marketing and Event Coordinator for First Tennessee. While there, she organized events, developed and maintained vendor relationships established through First Tennessee projects, managed and created press releases for new hires and helped manage marketing activities for corporate expansion initiatives including grand opening and ribbon cutting events for new financial center locations. Mindy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Sociology from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While at UTC, Mindy was an intern for Chattanooga’s Hot Country Favorites WUSY 101 and Oldies 107.9 radio stations and enjoyed every minute of it! She began her communications career as a Traffic Reporter where she reported to more than 30 radio stations in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. In 1999, Mindy entered the marketing arena when she was named Marketing Assistant for The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority. In 2000, Mindy and her husband moved back home to Nashville, and she accepted a marketing position with The Tennessee Credit Union. Mindy lives in White House, Tennessee with her husband Hank, their daughter Allison and their two English Bulldogs, Georgia and Bailey. Community involvement:
